Alsager Rotary Raise Funds Toward Dementia Friendly Community Initiative

A HUGE THANK YOU to The Rotary Club of Alsager, who continue to be great supporters of Alsager Partnership’s Dementia Friendly Community Project. This Summer they held a Fundraising Summer BBQ and yesterday handed over a cheque to the value of £500.

Well done to all those involved, we are extremely grateful and this will help Alsager Partnership to continue to make Alsager a great place to live for those living with dementia.  Pictured from left to right: Wendy Parker (Treasurer, Alsager Rotary), Kath Reader and John Poulson (Vice-Chairman and Chairman, Alsager Partnership).

In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to applaud Alsager Rotary members for their sterling efforts to revamp the Sunken Garden at Milton Park, which is now a Sensory Garden to help support people living with dementia to live well.  Members have volunteered countless hours and Rotary funds to make this happen and it looks fabulous.  Thank you again, to all involved in this wonderful community project.  If you would like to learn more about their project please CLICK HERE TO BE REDIRECTED TO ALSAGER ROTARY'S WEBSITE.  Pictured below: Alsager Rotary Treasurer, Wendy Parker alongside other members of the Club.  Also Kath Reader, Vice-Chairman of Alsager Partnership, Chair of Alsager Town Council, Councillor Shirley Jones, her Consort Councillor Cerrie Pletscher and John Poulson, Chairman of Alsager Partnership.
