All Schools In Alsager Now Dementia Friendly

We are so pleased to announce that in January this year, Alsager Partnership attended Alsager High School to deliver the final Dementia Friend Session to a cohort of six form students.  This group were unable to attend a session last year due to exams, but we were keen for them not to miss out and so we are now proud to say that every single child that attends an Alsager primary school or the high school is an Alzheimer's Society Dementia Friend.

Sessions were delivered by Dementia Champion, Kath Reader with support from Alsager Partnership Chairman, John Poulson and Youth Representative, Shay Norman.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the school teachers and heads that have juggled timetables to make this happen and of course, a huge well done to all of the children ranging from 6 years of age up to 18 years for their commitment to the sessions, full-on participation and enthusiasm.  Thank you!
