Memory Cafe - Update!!

Covid-19 lockdown brought an abrupt end to all activities for our Dementia Friendly Community (DFC), but in May we began introducing the virtual Memory Cafe via Zoom!

These twice monthly meetings have been well attended and have a recprocal arrangement with Sandbach DFC to participate in their Coffee & Tea Breaks.

The group has enjoyed a bingo session, quiz and musical storytelling performance from Fools Gold, in conjunction with our U3A Talk Time.

Meeting with our Dementia Friendly Working Group are being resumed virtually this month to maintain our local contacts and catch up with existing work strands. 

We are proposing to move all our Dementia Action Week (DAW) events and Summer Concert into 2021.
We currently expect DAW to take place between 17th and 23rd May 2021
