Pikemere Townwomen's Guild Donation

A HUGE THANK YOU to Alsager's Pikemere Townswomen's Guild, who on 25th January handed a cheque for £200 over to Alsager Partnership to support our Dementia Community Fund. We were so happy to welcome the ladies to the Memory Café that morning, where they were able to see first hand how their fundraising would be put to good use. All Schools In Alsager Now Dementia Friendly

We are so pleased to announce that in January this year, Alsager Partnership attended Alsager High School to deliver the final Dementia Friend Session to a cohort of six form students.  This group were unable to attend a session last year due to exams, but we were keen for them not to miss out and so we are now proud to say that every single child that attends an Alsager primary school or the high school is an Alzheimer's Society Dementia Friend.

A Memorable Christmas

On Friday 21st December, visitors to Alsager's Memory Café turned up to enjoy the most splendid Christmas Party.

In addition to all of the usual fun, cake, tea, coffee and biscuits our visitors were treated to surprise gifts, mince pies and Christmas cake, alongside live entertainment performed by local singer Virginia Meir accompanied by a keyboard player.

Wonderful Donation

Andrew Bracking and Brian Heath of NEWFIELDS TIMBER CO LTD have built a wheeled wooden case to enable Alsager Partnership to easily transport the sides of the BAT Table Tennis Table used for the Games Activity Sessions held on the third Wednesday of the month for those living with Dementia and their carers.
