On Friday 8th May 2020, Alsager celebrated the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

Celebrations were a little different than expected due to Covid-19 with the country still in lockdown and social distancing being enforced.  But this certainly didnt stop our community in coming together to unite, but in keeping with the distancing rules.

Alsager Partnership launches Its First Memory Choir

Last week saw Alsager Partnership's first Memory Choir and was incredible fun for all those who attended.  

Singing in a choir is a great way to socialise and is good for our wellbeing in so many ways.  It lifts our spirits and reduces our stress levels - so it must be good!  This choir is for everyone whether you already enjoy singing or think you can’t sing - community singing is for you.

It's All About Health & Wellbeing 2020

On Saturday 1st February, from 10am until 12.30pm, Alsager Partership brought another showcase ALL ABOUT HEALTH & WELLBEING to the town.

With over 200 visitors through the door, this event was jam-packed with information delivered by health, wellbeing and fitness organisations that helped visitors discover how to make their family’s lives healthier, improve their general wellbeing and explore ways to be more active.

Alsager Round Table Donation toward Dementia Tea Dance

This week at Alsager Partnership AGM Alsager Round Table Chairman, Danny Rowley, presented a £500 cheque to Alsager Partnership Chairman, John Poulson and Project Manager, Maria Ashdown.

The funds have been donated and will contribute toward the continued work of Alsager Partnership, who has now successfully made Alsager a Dementia Friendly Community.
